This is my first yelp review so bear with me. The Sarpino's menu was sent to my work, and despite the critical reviews on here, I decided to give it a shot because no other pizza place around here delivers by the slice or personal sized portions. When I placed my order, it said allow for 45-60 minute delivery time, but it was here nice fresh and hot within about 15 minutes! I was happy with the timing right off the bat. Then I opened the pizza and I'll admit it looked a tiny bit messy, but hey, it's pizza. The taste, what really matters, actually exceeded my expectations. I got the cheese bonanza personal pie and this wonderful blend of all my favorite cheeses was delicious! From what I've read, I'm starting to get the idea that some of these avid reviewers are just overly boosting their egos. Yes, the girl who delivered the pizza had a Slavic accent, but she could communicated perfectly clearly and was very nice. I am of Slavic decent as well, so I took offense to some of the reviews that made the accent thing seem like an issue. Don't be ignorant people! There is nothing wrong with this restaurant! During busy times you might have to wait a little longer but that's just common sense!

I got a good service the fist time and delivery was good. But I order my pizza today and the driver called and when I gave him the address never show up was very rude on the phone . Been waiting for 2hrs . I won't order from there again.

Horrible.... Sent me the wrong pizza and it looked a couple hrs old, rude when I called to ask for my order to be corrected, 2 hrs later they sent me the exact same wrong order ( at least this time it was warm )

I see buses driving around Fort Lauderdale with advertising wraps that use the word "gourmet" to describe Sarpino's. Then I got a menu in my mailbox so I decided to give them a try. I give them kudos for an easy to use website for online ordering and free delivery. That's where the praise ends. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and paid $19 for it. Guess that's why the delivery is free. As for the pizza? It would have ranked on par with what I ate in my middle school cafeteria........had it not been burnt. Gourmet? If you want a good, fresh, locally made pizza, order from New River Pizza or Pie-Zan's. Both have online ordering, delivery, and offer a great product.

I see a lot of mixed reviews here (mostly bad about the pizzas), so I'm writing mine based on what I personally ordered. It was about 10pm on a random Wednesday evening. I had a menu that was stuck in my door at one point and decided to give it a shot. I went online and ordered a veggie calzone with pesto sauce and what not. Just ordering online gets you 15% off your entire order! Without a tip I think it was only about $7. The online ordering was a bit confusing. It gives you the ability to customize your order. My calzone had a description of what came in it, but I wasnt sure whether I needed to add those things to the customization to actually get them. When I was adding those certain things the cost kept going up and up. I ended up leaving it blank and thank goodness it came with everything that was in the description. Delivery was very quick and the girl that brought my food was very sweet. The food was overall pretty good and I wouldnt mind ordering something from Sarpino's again on a different late evening occasion. Maybe not the pizza since the reviews are a bit iffy..... :)

So. I ordered here late one evening because my friend and I were hungry. It took over an hour to get our food delivered and it wasn't that great when we got it. It felt like the food came from frozen meals and that we were eating things that weren't fresh. Everything tastes a bit old and the chicken tenders were like a grey color. The onion rings were very soggy and the shrimp pasta had these shrimp in it that were microscopic .... Seemed like it was from a can. Gross. Not sure that I would eat here again. Maybe try the pizza?

Ordered delivery. Prices Ludacris but the fact that they delivery until 4am is great. Beer and wine included in delivery. Great customer service during ordering. Delivery time was insanely fast. Pizzas good.

Bad small pizzas that come with packets of cheese. Don't be fooled by the deals. It's still not worth it. Domino's is better, IMO

This place unfortunately does not have its act together, and above all else, the pizza isn't all that great unless you're drunk or stoned at 2 a.m. First, I ordered a 10-inch pie and got an 8-incher instead. Ok, I can deal, just refund the difference of four bucks. No, instead out comes a tiramisu that I didn't ask for. But, know what, I'm going to be cool and have it be the universe's way to tell me to enjoy a nice dessert. I stick a fork in this thing, and it's frozen like a rock. Tiramisu is, you know, a soft dessert. Can I get a knife? No, sorry, we have none. A napkin? Out comes a roll of paper towels from the back. Not to mention there's no water dispenser or anything up in here. There are four uncomfortable barstools for the entire place, not counting the seats out in the 95-degree heat. And lastly, this pizza pretty much tastes on par with Pizza Hut. For what they're charging, there are three other decent-to-great quality pizza spots in downtown Fort Lauderdale that you're better off at than this disaster.

Sarpino's has a couple of good things going for it; they're open till four and their delivery reaches up to my neighborhood (they're located in downtown Fort Lauderdale). If you're anywhere around downtown, lunch here is a good option because everything is pretty fresh. If you're jonesing on the munchies after 2:00 AM on a Friday night/Saturday morning.... mmm, no matter how hungry.... not so much. I'm intrigued at the cultural shifts in immigration to our melting pot of a community to know that we're quite welcoming to the growing wide world of Slavs; the person who took my call and who BARELY spoke English was Kyril and just hearing his accent and saying his name brought to mind the cold winters of Kiev and the heady romance of Dr. Zhivago; hey, maybe once I got my pizza I could rent that and watch the Russian Revolution unfold in between bites of pepperoni! When you're high as a kite you start to think you have the most marvelous intellectuality.... just saying. But poor Kyril's driver, Igor? Vasily? Nicholas? Well he was Russian too and apparently so fresh off the boat he literally spoke NO English (ni espanol tampoco) and didn't know how to drive to my house.....comforting he apparently already has a driver's license.... hmmm. Eventually this nice gentleman out of central casting for the role of a Cossack in a pogrom made it to my door.... my back door (did he scale the locked fence?) and then around to the front... it was almost an hour since I ordered the pizza, my high was long gone and I was irate at the number of phone calls back and forth with Kyril.... Putin sure is damn right.... the cold war is not yet over.... I'll enjoy Sarpino's when I'm back at work weekdays for lunch, but leave the take out for area restaurants closer to home.

The two times I've ordered from here I've received subpar service. Both times I've asked for sauce for dipping my calzone and never received it either time. This time I ordered tiramisu and what was delivered was a completely frozen block of, I don't know what it is because it's rock hard and I can't get a fork into it. I will not be ordering from here again.

Part of the blame on this lies with me. I didn't read the menu diligently. I ordered a 12 inch white pizza with pepperoni on half. Honestly it was pretty expensive for a 12 in pie but I figured I'd give it a shot. Online delivery was easy, they have a ton of dipping sauce flavors which I found nice. You get emails for each step, receiving the order, the pie being made and order going out for delivery. All great stuff imo The problems I have are as follows, the delivery was slow (yes it was Saturday night - but you'd think places could figure that out). Also the pizza was not very warm when I got it. I guess I was the last delivery. They need some better way to keep their pizza warm because whatever they are using doesn't cut it. Last and my biggest issue is what they consider a "white pizza". I have had white pizza at hundreds of places, all across the country. It's a simple pie: garlic, butter and olive oil for the sauce and mozzerella and ricotta on top. Their pie had no ricotta and was rancid with chopped onion. I mean it was just everywhere huge chunks of onion. My fault for not reading their description further - (if it's not obvious I loathe onions.) but I've never ever had a white pizza anywhere with onion let alone how liberally they applied them. I probably won't try again, because if you can't get something simple like a white pizza right - I don't trust you to get other stuff right. And lukewarm pizza just should not happen. These two errors are unrecoverable as far as I'm concerned.

We all get those little Pizza advertisements in our mailbox that are annoying as hell, but sometimes when the stars align, your just hungry enough to try a new place out... So I called Sarpino's after getting their flyer, and I am super happy I did! Pizza just arrived, steaming hot, FREE delivery, Super courteous service and driver, and great prices. Very Impressed!

  • Chi N.

Bottom line: The pizza is overpriced for what it is and the size you get, and there are much better options out there. Also, my friend ordered a cheese pizza yesterday, and they delivered a crust with random vegetables, no sauce and no cheese...

Well instead of eating this pizza I just got delivered , I'm writing this review ! Very nice menu fooled me into thinking I could get a good thin crust pepperoni pizza!!! Crust is rubbery! No sauce and COLD ... Seriously the worst pizza I've had in a long time if not EVER!!

I have ordered from here 2x (online) and that must be the difference because when I had to call in after receiving a thank you card with free med garlic bread. No way to use it online, no code etc. They tried to charge me for customizing a salad. When you order online, there is no charge for this. I was not happy.. and the person who answered the phone did not care at all. I didn't get my free medium garlic bread. I think I will look for another "go to" lunch place.

Ordered a greek salad with chicken and greek dressing. Got a spinach salad loaded with bacon and vinegar/oil dressing. Pizza was OK (thin crust) and bread sticks my animals enjoyed. Wouldnt recommend creamy garlic dipping sauce was very watery. Also pizza was very brown almost burnt on top.

This place used to be great, good pizza but not sure what happened this place has gone down hill. The last 2 times I've ordered the pizza was soggy and the cheese came right off very disappointing. Also last time they gave me the wrong pizza. This place used to be my fave pizza place but now I'm going to have to find a new place.

We order delivery and the thin crust well done is excellent. One of the best in the area.

I got a menu for Sarpinos at the front desk of my hotel. I ordered one cheese pizza and one white pizza. The quality is awful. It's the worst pizza I've ever had. The crust was soggy and it was just horrible. I don't understand how you can mess up a pizza that bad. Trust me, you're better off ordering from a chain like dominos or Pizza Hut, and I NEVER order from chains because of the low quality pizza. But, Sarpinos is far worse than chains like papa johns and dominos. It makes the chains look like gourmet pizza compared to the crap Sarpinos delivered to me.

Love this place!! Food always delicious and fast delivery !!

  • David D.

I've ordered delivery from here three times. The delivery is fast, prices are cheap (buy one pizza, get the second 50% off -- even if it's a personal sized pie) they usually throw in free cheese bread (twice, medium order is huge) and the last time, the delivery guy brought me plates, napkins and a coke. This place rules!

TRUE STORY: I ordered ONE sandwich for delivery at 2:30am. I forced myself to stay up until 4am for an order that shouldve been here at 3:15am the LATEST. When I called to ask where my food was, they said they "forgot to make it". How does one "forget" to make an order. Needless to say I went to bed a hungry man that night.

I like this place, especially for delivery. The pizza is okay but I really love the bacon club sandwiches with pesto on foccatia bread, so good and come with kettle cooked chips. Always super fast deliver with no minimum order, open late, and free delivery. I've also had the calzones which are decent and the salads which are basic - good for the price

Ordered delivery around midnight Christmas Eve. Order arrived quickly and correctly. We were quite happy with all the food. The BBQ chicken wings were very meaty and surprisingly good. The calzones were huge and the fresh ingredients made for some good eats. Service was friendly and the price - especially with free delivery - makes it a very fair value.

Prices are cheap... You get what you pay for. I liked there was no delivery fee or minimum required for delivery. Delivery was quick. However the plain cheese calzone I ordered had grated cheese and garlic crumbs over the top made it very salty and the over all taste was no good. I threw it out. I ordered a grilled chicken Cesar salad was ok a TON of Parmesan cheese though. Also had a slice of cheesecake , was frozen... But flavor after thaw was good. I'm only in town for work but I won't be ordering from this place again.

another office decided to treat my office to lunch.. and ordered Sarpino's pizza delivery.. 1 was pepp and onion and the other was a veggie pizza... I was VERY VERY impressed... and if you read any of my other reviews, you know I'm not easily impressed... The crust was fluffy with the right amount of crispy outer with a chewy inner layer.. the cheese was piled high mixed in with onions and pepperoni (ok. perhaps a tad overcooked on the pepperoni) .. but the taste was delicious.. especially for a delivery pizza... and let's face it, down here in Fort Lauderdale, it's basically a vast wasteland of pizza.. Places that call themselves "NY Style Pizza" and use that as an excuse for thin soggy crust with barely any toppings are on every block... But this one really was excellent and good. .... I see some of the other reviews and who knows? Maybe theirs really did suck... But mine was probably as good as delivery can get...

We order 2 pizzas and Mozzarella sticks....The sticks were not cooked, greasy and cold. The pizzas Overcooked - burnt on top ..with lettuce & tomato thrown over it. So over-cooked the :slices" wouldn't come apart..had to get a knife and saw through. If it wasn't over cooked, it might have tasted OK...but at $14.99 for a 10" ...there are many much better options. This was my 1st and prob last order...too bad...I was hoping for a good new place that delivers to me...i is free delivery though......

  • Matt G.

DO NOT ORDER!! At night especially(delivery)... One pizza took almost and hour and a half... Asked for garlic sauce, charged me for a full order or garlic breadsticks...wtf?!? which had the texture of beef jerky. The pizza itself was about a 2 on a scale of 10. I use yelp all the time and have only said good things or nothing if the food is bad, but I had to do something about this... It was pitiful.

On 9-25-2014, I order a pizza, I asked that the pizza be cut into squares, as we had several people sharing the pizza, the store failed to do this. On 10-5-2014, I placed the exact same order, from the website, again the pizza was not cut into squares. I feel this location is not capable, or willing to make the pizza as the customer wishes. this is not a difficult request.

i ordered 2 pizzas an 8 inch and a 10 inch. they gave me 2 8 inch pies .i figured no big deal ,unfortunately they were the wrong order. so i went inside and said wrong order, they gave me the right size pizzas but the primo cappicola didnt have any cappicolla. too much dough ,not enough cheese bland .oh well cross that one off

Sarpino's was my favorite pizzeria when we lived in Kansas so when I received a flyer in the mail a couple of weeks ago I was over the top excited that they now are in FTL!! Who would of known they would follow us to provide delicious pizza! Their menu is very expansive and they have different kinds of pizza/sandwiches/salads/calzones for anyone! I decided to order online since it is an extra 15% off! When you order online they have a very well set up website that is extremely user friendly. You can customize your order any kind of way you want with extra sauces, toppings, or special instructions. They also have it set up that when you go to check out you can choose your discount. For example; if you order the 2 pizza deal it will give you the option to take the 2 pizza deal or the 15% off deal. We took the 15% off discount since it saved us more money! Our two pizza deal included the Midnight Express pizza and the Tropical Hawaiian pizza. I also love their sauces so I ordered Jalapeño Ranch and Chipotle Ranch. The Midnight Express is a deliciously spicy pizza with spicy Italian sausage, salami, pepperoni, and more! For the Tropical Hawaiian they put real bacon pieces on it along with pineapple and Canadian bacon! Soo yummy!! The crust on their pizza is perfect in my option. Baked, not too thin or crispy and can hold all your ingredients! For dessert we ordered the cheesecake without the strawberry sauce (since I couldn't find where to order it). I was worried that I wouldn't like the plain cheesecake but it was amazing! Very dense and flavorful cheesecake! Their delivery is FREE- no minimum order! Open until 4AM every night! 15% off every order, every time! They also have a point system that can earn you up to $10 off your order! Our delivery took less than 40 mins on a Saturday night! I opted for the notifications to tell me the progress of our dinner and they advised me of each process! (Receipt, order received, order out for delivery) I look forward to ordering from Sarpino's again!

Awful place to order for delivery. Yes you get free delivery but they don't tell you will be waiting for almost two hours to be deliver. I called 3 times to know why was taking so long and the only answer I got was I don't know and today we are busy. By my second call I got 50% by my third call for free but food was cold and my appetite was gone.

I have finally found a place that warrants Yelp having a negative stars option; one star is too much of a compliment. Absolutely, hands down THE worst pizza we have ever eaten. Actually attempted to eat. I had one bite and the rancidness of the ingredients came screaming through. Thank God we now know NEVER to eat anything from this place ever again.

  • Morgan M.

This was probably the worst place we've ordered from in a while. I'm sure it was this specific location that had a lot to do with it. I have never ordered from a Sarpinos...ever. This one experience will be my one and only. We did not get their pizza btw. 1. When I called, the guy kept getting my order wrong. Red flag off the bat. 2. I had to tell him that I had a coupon multiple times for garlic bread with a certain order. 3. He kept giving me two different prices. 4. The guy told me it would be 25 minutes for delivery. It was almost an hour. We had to call more than once to light a fire under their behinds. 5. The food was cold. 6. The food tasted like rubbery s***. 7. Even after waiting so long for what tasted like cafeteria food left out one full day, they STILL forgot the garlic bread. If you are staying in Fort Lauderdale and are looking for delivery at night, AVOID this place at all costs. Go to Jimmy Johns. They are freaky fast. This place is freaky slow and bad.

    (1)
  • Carlos B.

Free medium pizza is a lie. I tried using it. Coupon says nothing about ordering a large or extra large. You go pick up your food all of a sudden you have to order a large or extra large. When asked where on the coupon it says that, they have nothing to say. Scam scam scam.

  • Destiny D.

Took 2 hours to get our basic delivery on a non busy evening. Food was not up to par and it was stale and cold. Wings were under cooked as well. Nice of them to give half off after calling the store 4 times to get a response, I would not recommend this place to anyone !

  • Charles B.

We ordered a hot italian sub and a pizza. Probably the worst sub ever. Thy used a synthetic provolone cheese which dominated the sub. They have never eaten an italian sub because it did not resemble one in any way. Only had 3 bites. So much for dinner!! Turned to the pizza which resembled a frozen pizza. Actually Publix frozen pizza is better. If you don't like someone tell them to order from this terrible place.

I'm on a roll tonight.... After a terrible experience with the Hyatt Regency Pier 66, I decided to end my night with the pizza company that they recommend. I ordered a "Mediterranean" that is supposed to have olives. I ordered Capicollo and pepperoni to be added to it. No olives. No Capicollo. No pepperoni. Their to go menu looks good. The actual pizza that is delivered isn't.

Ok I am not one to do these things usually but I placed an order through the yelp24 app. Over an hour after we ordered I contacted the app to ask for status. They said they forgot to put the order in. How do you forget to make an order?! Customer service contacted again and said it would be 30 minutes. 2.5 hours later the food arrives and isn't what we ordered! Lol I'm gonna have to say no to this one again.

First time here and I ordered a half classic Italiano/half cheese pizza. The pizza was just okay and over priced, and the half with toppings was undercooked. The service wasn't super friendly, the guy just took the order and handed off the food. Definitely not a place to sit and eat, the so called dining area is too small to stay and eat there and it has very few chairs and a couple outside tables. The bathroom smelled awful. I would not return here.
